Yard Weight Clinics

Adequate weight control is essential to keep a happy and healthy horse.

Unfortunately, it is estimated that 70% of horses in the UK are overweight. Overweight horses leads to increased problems with laminitis and arthritis – and can be effectively managed  with a controlled diet and exercise programme.

We have invested in our portable weight scales, which can be taken to your yard for a weight clinic. We will be on hand to offer help and advice on how to manage your horses’ weight based on the season, and their requirements. You will be emailed with a summary of the weight, and the current body condition score and some tips to improve it. You will also get your own weight tape – should you require it!
